QRA EDI Survey
Page 1: QRA ADM - Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Survey The Quaternary Research Association is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all of those within our community. As one of the steps towards supporting this, we are monitoring the diversity of attendees at QRA events to help identify any systemic issues that may prevent people from fully participating in our community. Results from this survey will be used to inform QRA policy and to help foster a more inclusive association, and as part of this, in addition to standard demographic questions there will be the opportunity to give free text responses at the end of the survey. We ask that respondents do not disclose personally identifiable information about themselves or anyone else in free text comments. Survey Anonymity: This survey is entirely anonymous, and no identifiable information will be retained. All data will be held by the QRA, and only the QRA Equality Diversity and Inclusivity subcommittee will have access to the raw survey data. Any analysis by the QRA EDI sub-committee that is reported to the QRA Executive Committee, the wider membership, or any other party will utilise "minimum reportable thresholds" in order to preserve respondent anonymity - this means that if any category receives <5% or <10 responses (whichever is higher) then data will be recorded as "below reportable threshold" and absolute figures will not be disclosed. All figures in any analysis will be reported as percentages calculated from categories that do meet reportable thresholds. To meet reportable thresholds, responses to some questions may be grouped. Guidance on wording of questions has been taken from the Office of National Statistics and Stonewall websites. Questions about the survey: If you have any questions about this survey, or suggestions as to how to make it more inclusive, please contact (in confidence if you wish) any member of the QRA EDI subcommittee.
