Top 50 Quaternary Sites

During 2014, as part of the 50th year celebrations of the QRA, we sought to compile a list of the 50 most significant Quaternary sites within the Britain as nominated by you, the QRA community.

We had an overwhelming response to this initiative and over 80 sites were submitted.  These 'top sites' are ALL now published and available to download here:

We are also looking to develop this initiative into a web based resource of Quaternary sites that can be explored in the Google Map below.

We hope that QRA members will continue to contribute new and old sites so they can be uploaded to highlight and celebrate the amazing diversity of Quaternary sites we have.  To submit your site, please fill in the nomination form and email to outreach@qra.org.uk.

We very much hope you enjoy this celebration of the UK's Quaternary sites!
