Field Meeting: Quaternary of the Exe Catchment & Blackdown Hills: April 4th-7th 2011
This is a 2 ½ to 3 day Spring Field Meeting based at Bicton College in East Devon. The organisers of the Fieldtrip and editors of the accompanying Field Guide are Dr Laura Basell, Prof Tony Brown and Dr Phil Toms. The provisional itinerary is given below. Although all efforts will be made to follow this schedule, unforeseen circumstances could cause some alteration. Travel will be from Bicton College each day in minibuses (included in the costs).

Monday 4th April: arrive pm - evening meal (if staying at Bicton College) and introductory talk

Accommodation
Accommodation is at Bicton College, near Budleigh Salterton (nearest train, Exeter or Honiton) which has ample parking for those travelling by car. Due to the restricted access at several sites participants must travel in the minibuses on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday they are free to drive to the West Somerset Railway station at Bishops Lydeard.
Accommodation is available for the nights of 4th-6th on a half board basis (bed, breakfast and evening meal). Full details of room type are given on the registration form.

All accommodation costs are per person per night with evening meal and breakfast included. A bar will be open each night.
To ensure a place on the Field Meeting please RETURN YOUR REGISTRATION FORM TO THE ORGANISERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND DEFINITELY BY 1st NOVEMBER 2010. We will need to receive your total payment by 1st FEBRUARY 2011 at the latest.
