One grant is awarded for research on the physical aspects of the desert environment and the second for the human dimension of arid and semi arid environments. Eligibility: Researchers with at least 3 years experience at postgraduate level or above. Applicants must be affiliated to a higher education institution. This can be anywhere in the world. The Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council provides a number of grants annually for research related to EPSRC.
